Denny’s has announced $4 All You Can Eat “Mooncakes” for the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017.
Denny’s has $4 All You Can Eat Pancakes every day but the Mooncakes – pancakes fashioned to look like the moon – are available only for the one-day event.
“Like all of America, our team at Denny’s is excited about the upcoming solar eclipse and we wanted to have a little fun to mark this historic occasion,” said John Dillon, @DillonJohnW, chief marketing officer for Denny’s.
“We know America already loves our signature $4 All You Can Eat Pancakes, so it seemed fitting to celebrate with these delicious, moon-shaped bites. Our $4 All You Can Eat Mooncakes will only be available for the solar eclipse, but of course our guests can enjoy the same great value with our regular pancakes every day.”
Denny’s announced the solar eclipse special on the Denny’s News Page.
With more than 1,600 locations nationwide and a new online ordering platform, “Denny’s on Demand,” America can experience the tastiest eclipse with Denny’s whether they’re viewing from their local restaurant or taking in the awe-inspiring sight from their seat at home. About Denny’s (from Wikipedia)
Denny’s (also seen as Denny’s Diner on some of the locations’ signage) is a full-service coffee shop/family restaurant chain. It operates over 1,600 restaurants in the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada, Curaçao, Costa Rica, Honduras, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
Denny’s is known for always being open and for serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert around the clock. Unlike many other restaurant chains, Denny’s does not close on holidays or nights, except where required by law. Many of their restaurants are located in proximity to freeway exits, bars and in service areas. Denny’s started franchising in 1963, and most Denny’s restaurants are now franchisee-owned.
