Perkins Free Pancake Day July 26?
In normal years, Perkins Restaurants have an annual Free Pancake Day on July 26, 2019.
In this annual event – delayed in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic – t, customers are invited to enjoy a free short stack of made-from-scratch buttermilk pancakes at any participating Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. Perkins usually announces the special on their Facebook Page.
All the company asks is that guests consider donating to Give Kids The World (GKTW), a non-profit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Perkins said the company is dedicated to helping make special memories at Give Kids The World® Village, an 84-acre, nonprofit “storybook” Village where visitors are treated to weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacations, complete with accommodations in the Village’s whimsical villas, transportation, donated attraction tickets, meals, and much more.
Jim Frank, Chief Operating Officer of Perkins Restaurant & Bakery explains, “Thanks to the generosity of our employees, franchisees, vendors and guests, Perkins has raised nearly $30 million dollars for Give Kids The World. We are proud to continue our support of this outstanding organization and look forward to holding yet another successful Free Pancake Day.”
Pam Landwirth, President and CEO of Give Kids The World Village, summarizes, “Perkins has been among our most treasured partners for nearly 30 years. We are deeply
grateful that they have embraced our mission and help us create the happiness that inspires hope.”
