Hooters Launches Meatless Wings
Hooters has launched Meatless Wings nationwide starting January 6, 2020. No, it’s not just chicken bones! Hooters Unreal wings are made with Quorn’s Meatless Wings.
“We’re excited to build upon our heritage of offering the broadest variety of wings under one roof by being the first to bring great tasting meatless wings to our guests!” said Carl Sweat, Chief Marketing Officer of Hooters of America in this press release. “By partnering with Quorn, we were able to create the taste, texture and crispiness of our world-famous chicken wings perfectly. Similar to our launch of smoked wings and roasted wings with half the calories of our regular wings, the Unreal wings provide our guests a healthier option without compromising on the full Hooters Wing flavor they know and love.”
About Hooters (from Wikipedia)
Hooters is a restaurant whose waiting staff are primarily young, attractive waitresses usually referred to simply as “Hooter Girls.”
The menu includes hamburgers and other sandwiches, steaks, seafood entrees, appetizers, and the restaurant’s specialty, chicken wings. Almost all Hooters restaurants hold alcoholic beverage licenses to sell beer and wine, and, where local permits allow, a full liquor bar. Other offerings for sale include Hooters T-shirts, sweatshirts, and various souvenirs and curios.
Between company owned locations and franchises, there are now more than 430 Hooters locations. The company has restaurants in 44 U.S. states, the US Virgin Islands, and Guam. In addition, Hooters operates restaurants in 28 other countries.
